ALL LEVEL JIU JITSU

Jiu Jitsu focuses on grappling, otherwise known as groundwork. The technique focuses on a smaller person defending themselves against a larger opponent. Practices include drills, techniques, and fundamental training.

For students of all levels! Train in an open, safe, and accepting environment. At cosmic, we believe in understanding and mastering the fundamentals. No matter what belt you are, it is important for all students to attend this session to build and refine your skills.


INTERMEDIATE JIU JITSU

This session is tailored for our more experienced Jiu Jitsu students. The class was designed to be more conceptually and physically challenging. Students should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu. This class will build on the basics that have been taught in the beginner’s class.

This class will get your heart racing as you continue to challenge smarter and stronger opponents. Here, you will find a band of competitors that will push you to be better. Your progress will continue to develop at tremendous rates as you evolve and grow.




JUDO by PHILIPPE MOROTTI

Judo mainly focuses on throws or take downs. The goal in judo is to immobilize or subdue your opponent with a pin, or submission. This sport focuses on efficiency and technique to create show stopping throws.

Be prepared to sweat up a storm, because in order to perfect these beautiful throws, you need to drill, drill, drill! With head coach Philippe Morotti, you will learn to be competitive, self-disciplined, and confident. Although judo may seem challenging, the practice will improve your technique and develop muscles you never knew you had!


WRESTLING FOR BJJ by JOHN LABORANTI

Wrestling involves grappling techniques such as clinch fighting, throws, take-downs, joint locks, and pins. Individuals typically wear a rash guards and shorts since your opponent is not allowed to grab clothes. This sport can get competitive as competitors fight to gain superior positioning. However this wrestling has been specially tailored to fit our BJJ students.

Keep yourself lively by learning a different style can make your game more versatile. Coach John Laborantihas custom created a curriculum that takes the strengths of wrestling and blended it with BJJ. Adding various moves that are not commonly seen on the mats can give you a leg up on your opponents.
